{"id":1850,"date":"2022-06-03T11:38:45","date_gmt":"2022-06-03T11:38:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tipsforahealthylife.eu\/?p=1850"},"modified":"2022-06-03T11:38:45","modified_gmt":"2022-06-03T11:38:45","slug":"chocolate-porridge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tipsforahealthylife.eu\/index.php\/2022\/06\/03\/chocolate-porridge\/","title":{"rendered":"Chocolate porridge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1851 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/tipsforahealthylife.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/51137595-225x300.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tipsforahealthylife.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/51137595-225x300.webp 225w, https:\/\/tipsforahealthylife.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/51137595-768x1023.webp 768w, https:\/\/tipsforahealthylife.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/51137595.webp 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>200 g blanched hazelnuts<br \/>\n200 g Medjool dates<br \/>\n400 g porridge oats<br \/>\n2 teaspoons vanilla extract<br \/>\n3 heaped tablespoons quality cocoa powder<br \/>\n1 orange<br \/>\nFOR EACH PORTION<br \/>\n200 ml coconut water<br \/>\n1 heaped tablespoon Greek yoghurt<br \/>\n80g fresh fruit, such as raspberries, blackberries, sliced banana, grated apple and pear, segments of orange<br \/>\n1 pinch of ground cinnamon or quality cocoa powder , (optional)<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW TO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Toast the hazelnuts in a dry pan on a medium heat until golden, tossing often, then tip into a food processor.<br \/>\nTear the stones out of the dates and add the flesh to the processor with half the oats, the vanilla extract and cocoa powder.<br \/>\nFinely grate in the orange zest and pulse until fine, then stir the mixture back through the rest of the oats. Pour into an airtight jar, ready to use.<br \/>\nWhen you want a portion, simply put 65g of the mixture into a saucepan with 200ml of coconut water and heat gently over a medium-low heat for 3 minutes, or until it\u2019s the consistency that you like, stirring regularly and adding splashes of water to loosen, if needed.<br \/>\nServe each portion with a spoonful of Greek yoghurt and 80g of fresh fruit. It\u2019s also nice finished with a pinch of cinnamon or a dusting of cocoa, if you like. And remember, if you up the number of portions you\u2019re cooking at one time, simply adjust the cooking time accordingly.
