And demanded to get paid the same amount of money for it. Very clever, I must say.<\/p>\n<p>That clearly didn\u2019t work out\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>But here are four things that you should totally experience at least once in your life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Attaining a Body You Feel Great In<\/strong><br \/>\nIt doesn\u2019t need to be a shape, it just needs to feel good.<\/p>\n<p>One can look attractive and be unhealthy, or have a bit of chub and be healthy. Aesthetics don\u2019t equal well-being.<\/p>\n<p>Prioritise health over an Instagram model shape. You feel happy and your body thrives being in a state where it\u2019s preventing a few thousand diseases.<\/p>\n<p>And if you don\u2019t take shortcuts like\u00a0fad diets, it\u2019s likely that you\u2019ll enjoy it and sustain it. If you choose to take shortcuts, then you\u00a0might hop back\u00a0to square one once you stop it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My personal experience<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen I was obese, I had PCOD and shopped in the men&#8217;s section since I was a teen, so I could wear oversized t-shirts.<\/p>\n<p>I initially started my fitness journey to \u2018lose weight\u2019. But with time, I loved how I felt and I became more confident.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I\u2019m exercising and eating healthy for\u00a08 years!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why should you do it?<\/strong><br \/>\nBut when you\u2019re healthy you feel more energetic, you feel like your body is happy, you feel so good about yourself.<\/p>\n<p>You deserve to feel that way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Travelling Solo<\/strong><br \/>\nIt\u2019s not a social media craze like I thought during my first solo trip to Amsterdam because my social anxiety kicked in and I thought I\u2019ve got myself into some social media vanity trap.<\/p>\n<p>With time, I realised I made the best decision of my life. So I so travelled a lot that year.<\/p>\n<p>Being in unfamiliar places and unpredictable situations makes you hyper-aware. It makes you spend more time with yourself, absorb the culture, speak to people from across the world and live in a way you haven\u2019t before.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTravel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.\u201d \u2013Mark Twain<br \/>\nEven if it\u2019s a 4-day trip, do it. It won\u2019t be easy, you may be anxious, and you may question your decisions. But you\u2019ll come back changed, for good.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My personal experience<\/strong><br \/>\nI\u2019ve solo travelled to about 10 countries. My longest trip was 19 days long across 6 countries and 7 cities in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>It happened four years ago, but it\u2019s become a part of me. If I could hop back to any time in life, it\u2019ll be this.<\/p>\n<p>It shaped my values and perspectives deeply.<\/p>\n<p>My biggest realisation was that we\u2019re not individual beings at all. We\u2019re connected to a big, big world where we\u2019re a mere speck in the universe. So we should take things lightly and enjoy life a little more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why should you do it?<\/strong><br \/>\nBecause you should know yourself and the world around you. This experience will teach you things books and movies cannot. It\u2019ll create an experience that you\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n<p>Pub crawls, getting lost, hostel dinners, meeting people \u2014 it\u2019s so, so much fun!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Being in Love<\/strong><br \/>\nBeing heartbroken sucks. Because when that happens, everything around you sucks.<\/p>\n<p>Everything hurts, and you feel you\u2019d never be able to trust anybody in the world again. It\u2019s just so painful!<\/p>\n<p>But it\u2019s still worth it because love is a chance you take. It\u2019s a chance you take not knowing where it\u2019ll lead you because nothing happens according to the plan \u2014 and that&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p>But the feeling of being in love\u2026 it&#8217;s beautiful. Everything feels vibrant. You look forward to each passing day, and life feels complete.<\/p>\n<p>That makes it all worth it, doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHave enough courage to trust love one more time and always one more time.\u201d \u2014\u00a0Maya Angelou<br \/>\nMy personal experience<br \/>\nRight now, I\u2019m engaged to somebody I\u2019m grateful for every single day.<\/p>\n<p>But it hasn\u2019t been easy before him, and I\u2019m happy it wasn\u2019t. Because it led me to meet this wonderful person.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why should you do it?<\/strong><br \/>\nIt makes life sweeter. You\u2019ll smile more often. It gives you butterflies in your tummy and even makes the worse days so much better.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Making Money Online<\/strong><br \/>\nIt\u2019s powerful, you know.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m off hardcore work for 10 weeks at the moment because I felt like it, and I can. This feeling of owning my time feels powerful.<\/p>\n<p>Think of people who move to bigger cities with skyrocketing rents and spend on commutes. Now, they can save all of that and make money online at their own convenience.<\/p>\n<p>There isn\u2019t a better time in the world to try this than right now.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My personal experience<\/strong><br \/>\nIt\u2019s given me the freedom I didn\u2019t even know existed a year ago. It&#8217;s given me financial security, which would\u2019ve taken me years to get otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and\u00a0I work half the time\u00a0I did earlier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why should you do it?<\/strong><br \/>\nTo diversify your income portfolio and try something new.<\/p>\n<p>Side Hustling<br \/>\n\u201cThe truth is that finding happiness in what you do every day is so imperative.\u201d\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Gary Vaynerchuk<br \/>\nA side hustle is a hobby or work you do outside of your 9\u20135 (it may or may not make money).<\/p>\n<p>Pick a skill or learn a new one.<\/p>\n<p>Work on it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Build in public.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Connect with other people doing it.<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t have to do it to make money, because making money via side hustling is super hard and takes a long, long time. But do it because you\u2019ll learn so much.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My personal experience<\/strong><br \/>\nSide hustling for 10 months helped me quit my job and get closer to\u00a0living the life of my values.\u00a0Need I say more?<\/p>\n<p>Why should you do it?<br \/>\nBecause it\u2019s just so much fun. It will be difficult in the beginning, but the more you practise your skill, the better you\u2019ll get.<\/p>\n<p>And who knows, maybe you\u2019ll make a living out of it (if that&#8217;s what you want).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe purpose of our lives is to be happy.\u201d \u2014\u00a0Dalai Lama<br \/>\nLike I told my grandma today, it\u2019s just one life.<\/p>\n<p>Where will I stack up the money?
