Remove from the heat while you prepare the other ingredients.<br \/>\nIn a mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolks, sugar, cornflour, and vanilla extract until pale. Gradually add the warm milk into the mixture.<br \/>\nPour the mixture back into the pan and whisk constantly on a low heat until thickened.<br \/>\nPlace in a bowl in the fridge to cool.<br \/>\n<strong>Second<\/strong>: Layer the ingredients<br \/>\nFirst, there\u2019s a layer of ladyfingers, then a layer of jam, then custard, which I made from scratch, then raspberries, more ladyfingers, then beef sauteed with peas and onions, then a little more custard, and then bananas, and then I just put some whipped cream on top!<\/p>\n<p>Follow the same assembly process, but skip the meat layer.
